Oracle TimesTen in-memory database
Really really interesting article came across my desk this morning about the Oracle TimesTen in-memory database. It's titled "When Microseconds Count" and it's written by Jonathan Gennick.
It looks like Oracle has figured out a way to not only have the in-memory database (well, they bought it), but they figured out how to keep it synced with a real Oracle 10g database (very cool).
I recommend reading through the article. If I get a chance I'm going to download it and give it a try.
