Oracle home on a SAN?
Stumbled upon the fact that one of my production db's has it's Oracle home on a SAN just like the datafiles.
I always thought this was a no-no. You know, internal disks are super fast and you want your binaries on internal disk (even though SAN's are kind-of-fast).
Anyway, the question of the hour, do I go and move the Oracle home back to the internal disks or just leave it alone? I've got plenty of disk space internally on mirrored super-fast disk.
Anyone out there with suggestions or thoughts, I'd appreciate it...
Until next time...Rich
